WWII -Era Civilian Conservation Corps Cold Weather Cap

A real vintage find with a classic design! Genuine 1939 to 1942 dated CCC cold weather caps in brand new unissued condition. All still have the factory QM tags intact! The CCC or Civilian Conservation Corps was a US government, para-military labor organization focused on building America's infastructure to help bring the country out of the Great Depression. Versatile, wool-lined, pine green canvas caps have fold down ear and neck flaps and chin straps. These wonderfully made hats are built to last. All have original manufacturer's QM tags with the date of production. We have evaluated these for fit and have determined that many are incorrectly tagged for size (which is probably why they are still in surplus!). We have placed each of these hats over our test heads and determined the actual size. So, the tag on your hat may state a different size, but it will fit like you want.
